Rigorous research for Plant Biographies began
in early 1990 and continues to this day. As time passed we realised
that the wealth of information on the plant world’s interaction
with man and the planet would fascinate an extremely wide audience
BUT the multitude of nuggets would need to be easily accessible.
With this in mind we established
the first website for Plant
Biographies in 2005. Then in 2009 Bath IT revamped this
first website and improved the accessibility of the whole project
dramatically.
We intend to expand some of the existing Biographies, add further
species in the years to come and update the website itself as
the project progresses.
