On CD the main text covers over 3000 pages. It is preceded by Contents, Introduction and an extensive list of Definitions of Botanical Names and followed by a Bibliography and an over 300-page comprehensive General Index. This Index gives the reader the great advantage of a highly refined searching tool embracing detailed breakdowns of nationalities, tribes, religions, subjects etc., as well as access via individuals, nationalities and religions/beliefs plus any alternative names by which these and the many disciplines might be known. You can see this if you take advantage of the free registration facility on this website.

In the section 'What is Plant Biographies?' you will find an extract from the 2006 General Index which illustrates its comprehensive nature. In addition as both botanical and common names (regardless of language) are presented in dictionary format the periodic application of botanical or common names to more than one species is apparent at a glance. The genera themselves are integrated into the dictionary too and within each genus those of its species for which there are entries appear in similar order.

The CD is updated annually in April.

Copies of the CD, at £25 each including postage and packing, can be purchased by clicking the 'Buy Now' button on the Right. Each CD purchased contains an order form entitling you to acquire a subsequent updated edition for the special price of £7.50. Details are in the pack.
